Calaveras Public Utility District will shut off water service to
selected areas of the Rail Road Flat, Glencoe and upper Mokelumne Hill
area on Wednesday and Thursday. The shutdown is expected to be effective
from 1 p.m. Wednesday to 8 a.m. Thursday. It is necessary to permit the
utility to repair a water main near the intersection of Ridge and
Independence roads in Glencoe. For more information, contact the
