PLEASE READ!! We're happy that you've decided to register for the site! Please follow these simple rules:

1. Username. This is a community site. Members are asked to use their First and Last names as their username. (If you aren't willing to post comments using your real name, you probably shouldn't be posting comments at all.) If the administrators are suspicious that you are a spambot or other undesireable, your account probably won't be approved. You are allowed to use capital letters and spaces - for example: James Bond is a valid username, and is the format we would prefer.

2. Use a valid email address. While it won't be published, it will be used for system notifications and authentication.

3. Be positive in your comments and contributions. Authenticated users are allowed to comment throughout the site, upload images and post to blogs.

4. Groups: If you would like to become a member of any of the groups listed below, check the appropriate box(es). If nothing else, join the Site Authors group so that you'll have access to the group of people who help to develop this site and add content. The administrator of each group will approve your membership separately from your site approval, so it is possible that you will not be approved for a group you have signed up for, if you are not already a member of the "real world" group listed. If you don't receive a confirmation that you've been added to your desired group(s), you can always contact us later to request again. Additionally, if you feel we need to add a group, let us know!

5. Avatars. Choose an avatar, or picture, from the list of choices. If later you would like to upload your own image (a picture of yourself, for example), you can do so via the "My account" link in the navigation bar under your name, once you're logged in.

Administrators must approve registrations to keep the spambots and crud-generators off our site, so be patient! We can always use help, so please let us know in what capacity you're willing to join in the effort to build this site. Administrators reserve the right to delete obscene and/or objectionable content, and to boot users off the site if necessary.
