OMG... OK so we got to Houston ahead of schedule, but our bags did not make the their connection in Los Angeles. Therefore we visited the highlights of Houston including the Discovery Park downtown and Memorial Park. By 2:30 PM Central time we were on our way. Our plan was to to make Baton Rouge but we stopped in Lafayette due to our delayed departure from Houston. Lafayette is a beautiful city and we relaxed with cocktails at Agave. However, we ate at Don's Seafood restaurant in Lafayette. Don's is a fantabulous old time dining establishment where we were served by a lovely waitress who was happy to talk to us about Cali because she is on her way to Petaluma to see her grandbaby graduate from the Air Force.
We are listening to The Help on CD which I find a comfort but Asella is tried of and wants to listen to the radio station ... but we are not in Bakersfield.
Today we went to Avery Island where they make Tabasco. We will fill about our hot n spicy trip. Love ya from the Mississippi to Moke! Keep it real!
