Business listings - or local business pages - on this site are free, and any author can add them. Just be sure to put them into the proper category, so that people can find them easily using the category drop down later.
I’ve tried to include everything I could think of for business types, but I’m sure I missed something. Just contact me if you need a category added.
Go to:
Create content / Local business
Type in the business name (this will appear publicly, so make sure to spell it correctly!)
Choose the proper category (kind of business)
Fill in the body field. You might want to include things like phone number and address, email, business hours, description, etc. Business listings can include images, links to websites or email addresses, etc. Just type full email addresses or the web URL, and this site will turn those into links for you.
Click the "Add image" link if you'd like to use Image Assist to upload a picture.
You can even attach files if you have a PDF brochure or something that you want to include. Use the "file attachment" link toward the bottom of the window.
Remember to "submit" when you're done! If you want to edit it afterward, just click the "edit" tab.
