Join CalaverasGROWN for our annual celebration of community-scale agriculture. This year our speakers will be local agriculturists speaking about their operations and the future of agriculture and it's associated benefits in our region. Speakers will be proceeded by a local food/wine dinner and social hour.
Who: All those interested in a vibrant and viable agricultural community for Amador, Calaveras and Tuolumne Co.
What: A social hour with local wine and beer for sale followed by a local food/wine dinner and short presentations by local
agriculturalists.
When: Friday, February 24, 2012. Social Hour: 6 p.m., Dinner 7 p.m.
Where: Historic Mokelumne Hill Town Hall, 8280 N. Main St. Mokelumne Hill, CA
Why: To celebrate and inspire community scale agriculture for the Central Sierra Foothill region. Last years event was a great success with attendees from all walks of life, political and social backgrounds eating and talking together. This year will be another great event withspeakers Jim and Karen Hagen, Mark McKenna and Sean Kriletich. Don't miss it!
