Over the past couple of months, the Mokelumne Hill Community Historical Trust has been working to update our community website. The look of the site is much the same, however we have spent a lot of time to make it easier for you to use. The site has all the same major features and you can view the content without logging in.
The annual Mokelumne Hill Fireman's Ball will be held on Saturday, February 11th at the Mokelumne Hill Town Hall on Main Street. As always, we will have our legendary Silent Auction, no host bar, and live music featuring the Full Circle Band. Tickets will be available at the door for $10 per person or $15 per couple. The event starts at 6:30 PM, and the band will start playing at 8:00 PM. Please come out to join us in celebrating and supporting our firefighters who work diligently to insure the safety and well being of our community every day.
Enjoy a locally produced meal in the historic Mokelumne Hill Town Hall. Our delicious seasonal stew will be accompanied by fresh baked bread and a salad of all Amador, Calaveras and Tuolumne ingredients. Local wine and beer available for purchase during social hour, and local wine will be served with dinner. To reduce waste, please bring your own place setting (plate, bowl, knife, fork, spoon and cloth napkin).
After seven years Brenda Nasser is retiring from the library. A party is being held by The Friends of the Library to honor her service. The party is Thursday, Feburary 9th at 4 p.m. at the Library. Please come and enjoy the fun.

Employed as the operator of Mokelumne Hill’s first telephone exchange, her look contrasts with the style of her friend Florence Moser (far left) who keeps to a long dress suitable for her role as a school teacher.
